A History of the World Badge

The BBC and the British Museum have partnered up with the ambitious goal of telling a history of the world with 100 museum objects.  A series of 100 podcasts which define and explain the history of the world is available to download from the BBC web site or from iTunes.  The 100 objects are from the collection of the British Museum.

The podcasts are less than 14 minutes each but they are packed with rich information, context, scholarly experts and other information.  The information is easily digested by the average individual. The podcasts are complemented by a feature-rich web site. The A History of the World web site includes photos, catalogue information, blogs and more. People are also invited to choose objects that they would include.
